I don’t know if Lance Armstrong cheated and used performance-enhancing drugs. I don’t even know enough to have an opinion. It’s easy to understand why lots of jealous and envious and genuinely mystified athletes would think so. His feats seemed super-human. I know people suspect me of being some kind of super-human freak who never sleeps, works 26 hours a day, secretly uses e-mail, and has a hidden staff of hundreds of elves… I do not do any of those things and I SWEAR UNDER OATH THAT I AM NOT USING ANY PERFORMANCE-ENHANCING DRUGS.

PS: Also in this presentation, I discuss something Andrew Carnegie believed and, in certain circles, discussed – that Napoleon Hill chose NOT to highlight in any of his works, including ‘Think And Grow Rich.’ Hill thought it would come across as elitist, imperial and offensive so he took it upon himself not to make it an 18th “law of success.” Had Carnegie been writing the book, I’m quite certain he would have. I unearthed it in other writings by Carnegie that aren’t readily available and that hardly anybody ever delves into, I did so early, recognized its importance early, and have since seen it in or evolve in the “secret thoughts” of most of the exceptionally successful and wealthy people I’m fortunate to work with.
You’ll find that Napoleon Hill’s assessment of this idea was correct; it is offensive to most people. But nevertheless, true. If you were at the last-ever Renegade Millionaire Retreat and heard Dr. Gene Landrum and/or have studied Gene’s works, Carnegie’s “confession” will not be surprising to you (nor will mine).
